Visa Application Form
i) Application form duly filled and signed (if minor, signed by both parents)
ii) 2 passport-size photographs attached

Covering Letter

• Statement of purpose (max 1 page) explaining:

  • Reasons for course & institution choice

  • Means of financial support

  • Scholarship (if applicable)

  • Intended accommodation

Proof of Admission to the Study Program
i) Admission letter from Italian Higher Education Institution
ii) Pre-enrolment summary from UNIVERSITALY portal (if required)
iii) Receipt of payment of enrolment fees (must appear in submitted bank statements)

Proof of Previous Education
i) Color copy of final degree/final school certificate (attested & apostilled)
ii) Color copy of transcript/marksheet (attested & apostilled)
iii) One of the following (if required by institution):

1. Declaration of Value (DOV)

2. CIMEA Certificate
   iv) Curriculum Vitae (CV)

Proof of Economic Background and Financial Support

• Minimum €6079.45 per year (or €506.59 per month) of intended stay

• 6 months’ original bank statement of applicant (stamped & signed by branch manager)

• Proof of income: employment/business docs, last 3 years ITR, DEMAT, family income certificate (from State Govt portals), or educational loan proof

If Sponsored:
i) 6 months original bank statement of sponsor + applicant’s statement
ii) Sponsor’s ID proof + sponsorship letter
iii) Sponsor’s income proof (employment/business docs, ITR last 3 years, DEMAT, family income certificate, educational loan proof)

Overseas Medical Insurance

• Coverage of at least €30,000

• Valid for first 6 months of stay in Italy

• Must include “repatriation clause”

Air Ticket

• Round trip booking (PNR/booking reference verified)

• OR additional €2000 on top of minimum financial proof (Point 6)

• Valid for both short and long stay study visa

Accommodation

• Adequate proof of boarding/lodging in Italy for at least 30 days (all bookings will be verified)
